Churnalism there, marvellous. On which note - "A nasal spray which increases our trust for strangers is showing promise as a treatment for social phobia, say scientists from Zurich University. They found that people who inhaled the "love hormone" oxytocin continued to trust strangers with their money - even after they were betrayed. Never mind social phobics - why doesn't the article mention its possibilities for con men? Under which heading I obviously include politicians, evangelists and most of the media.

(Though for the record, I'm not entirely convinced by the arguments in that crystal skull story either. 'We don't know them to have had this tech, thus the skulls must be modern fakes' - well, no, that's not the only option, is it?)

Impure hate? When you can sort of understand why someone has done something really annoying. A person you basically like leaving their loud mobile on the desk and then wandering off. Mice, who eat one's food and poo everywhere and thus must be destroyed, but who are still really cute.
