The BBC responded to my message of support for the Jerry Springer broadcast with a form letter. I wouldn't mind except that it's a form letter intended for the protesting morons. "We are sensitive to matters of faith and religion in broadcasting, and have given careful consideration to the points you make. We are also aware that a number of other pre-transmission complaints have been received." Well, no, you clearly haven't given any consideration whatsoever to the point I made, which was that the protestors belonged in Iran or the Dark Ages rather than modern Britain and as such should be ignored.
And no, I've not watched it yet.

Is it any wonder that God has punished these vile nations with these losses?
It is no wonder that God has sent these great, unstoppable waves to sweep people away like so much chaff. Just as it is no wonder that God sent the Muslim planes to destroy the World Trade Center, it is no wonder that the God who created the Earth and Seas (Genesis 1:9-10) could use them to destroy thousands of unrepentant sinners. Be thankful it wasn't BILLIONS, as it was in the days of Noah!
It is entirely appropriate that these heathen, God-hating Sodomites should be swallowed up in the Asian jungles, being buried by bulldozers, receiving that burial which is appropriate for them, to wit "He shall be buried with burial of an ass" (Jeremiah 22:19).

I used the Twilight Singers cd as background music at the cd launch on Saturday night. It worked very well if I skipped past tracks 4 and 5.
It also greatly confused an American goth, who knew he recognised it but was too goth to ask me what it was. I caught him sneaking round the sound desk looking at cd covers when my back was turned. Unfortunately for him I had brought it in a Zutons cover. Oops.

A quick whois reveals that godhatesamerica.com (and .net, and .org) are domains owned by Fred Phelps and/or his "church". And the site is down, though whether it's down to slashdotting by us godless unrighteous libruls, Baal only knows.
