That was the best of the recent spam subject line - shame the message itself was another of those boring financial ones.
Mmmm, gnocchi...
Today's Nemi cartoon was most disappointing - I can't believe that she wouldn't know there's already a film of The Phantom. I also feel Metro was cheating to trail an article with a picture of Nigella and the headline "Naked and quite filthy" when it was only about poor hygiene in British kitchens.
You know those sleazy pulp novel covers which are available as postcards? Lurid pictures appropriate to titles like Fraternity of Shame, Leather Girls or The Man From C.A.M.P.? Has anyone ever actually read one of the novels from which they're supposedly culled? Has anyone even *seen* one?
Withdrawal from Iraq announced.
I often rail at bad club names, so in the spirit of fairness I feel I should congratulate the Rhythm Factory for their honesty and knowledge of their clientele. They've named their new unsigned bands night Let Them Eat Gak.
I knew the Telegraph would pick up plenty of sales from outraged traditionalists once they became the only British broadsheet, but they're starting to milk it early. Their posters already say "Think bigger" and the cover promises "The Best In Broadsheet Journalism".
(The Real) Tuesday Weld are to do the soundtrack for a Lucozade ad, and their animator's doing the visuals. I can't say I ever expected them to get the advertising dollar, and even if they did, Lucozade wouldn't have been the obvious product.
