The balloon will not break
Oct. 14th, 2004 10:48 amLast night I attended a particularly good concert by one of my favourite bands, David Devant & his Spirit Wife. This would seem the obvious topic for today's entry but really, either you were there appreciating the majesty of David Devant, or you bum dogs.
A scurrilous but often reliable source mentions "the 22-23 year old illegitimate daughter of Charles and Camilla, conceived on the Royal train, while Charles was only just married, adopted by aristo friends and now living in London". It may be utter nonsense, of course, but I am intrigued nonetheless.
Because I am not a stinking hippy, people are often surprised at my keen interest in environmental matters. Part of this is a hatred for wasting electricity. Even a light left on when a room is to be vacant for more that 15 minutes angers me. Imagine, then, my reaction to the new company policy that all computers should be logged out rather than turned off at the end of each day.
( inconsequentiality )
