Little Kix is a much better album than I remember. Or perhaps I've just caught something from hanging around with so many Mansun fans since I moved down.

It's a wonderful feeling to come back from a night out with more money than you had at the start. The pub quiz is our b1tch.

Apparently it was the punctuation puzzling the poll creator.

Well since I haven't listened to any Mansun for about a year you couldn't have possibly caught it from me, okay? ;)

Maybe it lay dormant, or you had simply developed an immunity?

Man does that mean it could flare up again? And I could start shouting "Chad!" at inopportune moments? ;)

Was he really frowning? Doesn't he just always look like that due to his massive eyebrows?

Say it aint so Barry! If even you* can catch the Mansun virus, what hope do I have with hanging around that [livejournal.com profile] publicansdecoy?!

*prepares to batten down hatches*

*I like the way I said that as if you have particularly good taste or something, hahah, Baxendale fan.

I always liked some Mansun, but my position on this album used to be that it was one great single with a lot of B-sides. If you're hardline anti, you may not be susceptible.

(I also listened to Baxendale this morning, as it happens)

Well, you know, why bother when there's like... other stuff? I mean, blah? Surely? Ah well. SIX is alright though because it has Tom Baker on it and quite frankly it's a bit menko. But they're no Busted!

Ew.

They will never take Magazine's place in my heart, true.

Magazine are GRATE though, aren't they? I'd never listened to them out of a kind of sense of loyalty to the Buzzcocks (essentially my brain's houseband since I was 16) but... I may have made a tactical error though! Top stuff, and their cover of Goldfinger deserves an honours prize...

I was shocked to find what was allowed

I don't even know that much Buzzcocks, really, but (ropy last album aside) Magazine are one of my favourite bands. Such angular intelligence, but married to such passion!

Where we rule!

I think I've got overly into quiz mode - when I saw your poll about Bill Deedes's old boss, I thought you were going to be asking us who said it. I thought it might be Macmillan, or Churchill.
