Tossers, Part One: The Sasser Support Team. '"The entire world is angry with him, so we think he could use some friends," the team wrote. "We also like sticking it to the man."' Yes, but while he was "sticking it to the man' he also stuck it to lots of perfectly pleasant people going about their everyday Net use. Let him rot.

Tossers, Part Two: The International Olympic Committe. Because London really needs to waste more money on another stage of bidding (and, this being the IOC, bribery) so that we can get more tourists and more sport clogging our already crumbling infrastructure, doesn't it?

Tossers, Part Three:

There's no point in giving Fred Phelps any more publicity. He's an arsehole who shoudl be ignored.

Oh, I know, I know. But sometimes the urge to growl about the world gets too much, regardless of its inherent futility.

Dan Savage isn't nearly as fvcking radical as he'd like to believe he is. And apparently he's not that pleasant in person either. Anyway, Tossers Part One was a new topic for me, surely?

dan savage is a c#nt for more reasons than i'd care to list right now. he only gets away with the sh#t he says because he's a bummer, and because the people he attacks are usually the kind of people not many people care enough about to stand up for.

and yeah, i have to give you that one, i've never seen you discuss virus making c#nts before.

anyway, i didn't mean to have a go at you or anything. sorry if i came across that way, like.

Oh, sometimes when he's rude I like it, eg the recent attack on people who let it all hang out in summer when they shouldn't. Cue various attacks by the 'body positive' which I just found funny.

well, you can guess what my stand on that is, but some of his articles (several beyond offensive ones about trans and intersex people, for instance) have made me wonder how the f#ck he can still be allowed to write for a living.

but then i remember why, and it depresses the f#ck out of me. but that's just me being a boring pc c#nt, obviously.

On the news, one of those fag potestors was holding up a placard which just said BIBLE BIBLE BIBLE BIBLE BIBLE BIBLE. Superb.

Isn't it funny how when you repeat a word again and again and again it just turns into nonsense?

Though some words last longer than others. 'Cricket' can go for ages before it's sapped of meaning, for instance.

I had that with 'cobweb' this morning. I was quoting Kurosawa's 'Throne of Blood' to myself. I'm deeply concerned at this behaviour.

i do believe (and i could be wrong, but...) those lovely people in 'Tossers, Part Three' are standing across the street of the Cambridge City Hall... and there are about 10,000 people (me included!) standing with happy signs saying "Masel Tov!" and "Love Wins." in this case, at least, the good guys vastly outnumbered the bad ones.

in other news, the IOC decided to let transsexuals compete in the olympics. at least they balance their greed with tolerance?

I Don't Mind Terribly Saying So But I Agree With Barry Sarll Today.

(Although I'm not mad at the IOC so much as at Ken & Tone for bidding. Hell, if people want to pay me masses of money to bring mindless cattle to their city, I'll probably say yes.)

I don't like any sport to start with (well tennis once in a blue moon maybe), but the Olympics is all about the sports that nobody's interested in anyway! You have to bundle them together to create an illusion of excitement..
