may well work on me though! I've been drifting on the edge of comic/not comics for a while now, but the whole hardcore thing has always put me off because of the many years of history, and jumping in right in the middle.
However its still an expensive hobby, and I suspect one does not just walk into a newsagent/wh smiths and buy them theses days...
