Yep. A lot of people seem to believe that creation is somehow a virtue in and of itself - I remember Northern Uproar saying of the critics, well at least we've made an album. Missing the point that even if the critics hadn't written good and readable criticism (which many had), it's better to have produced nothing than to have stunk the place up. And writers who write in preference to reading - Garth Marenghi jokes aside, how are they any different to people who, in a conversation, don't listen but only wait for the moment to say their own piece? Which is generally recognised as bloody rude.
