She made me think of a couple of the book companions - specifically late-period Ace, and Roz (though they were both rather lacking Lady Christina's sense of humour). I would like another companion who can actually do stuff, as opposed to the mainstream-audience-identification peons on whom Rusty seems so horribly keen.

And while I'm not normally much of a Lee Evans fan, I think that as with Peter Kay, or indeed Catherine Tate, Who brought out the best in him.
