Execution Channel was the one by which I was least tempted. Which Stross are you thinking of as technothriller? I can see it with the most recent McAuley, and even more so Richard Morgan, but Stross always seems more thoroughly SF-minded. Or horror/comedy/spy-minded in the Laundry books.
