Neither Margaret Jay or David Puttnam would be suitable candidates to deliver a "strong, independent BBC" being as they are NuLabr toadies to the core.

I can only assume "Massah" John Beyer, evangelical Christian and Black and White Minstrels fan, is a joke candidate.
