The reason Bale was such inspired casting is that Bateman and Batman are very similar characters. Batman's just better at keeping his dual lives separate. That's exactly the sort of thing billionaire playboys do. And I love the idea that Batman would end up having orgies just as part of his cover story. Best Excuse Ever!
