When you're reading a book about a drunken London dreamer in a dead-end job whose life, you just know, is going to be worse by the end than it is at the beginning, you really don't want to find out he's the same age as you.
But then you nab a discarded Metro and see the X-Prize has been claimed and all of a sudden it's not so bad.
Did a lot of sleeping this weekend (two 12-hour stints!) so this may not be that content-heavy considering the long weekend. This included falling asleep when I'd intended to attend Kennel Club, which was rather unfortunate. But I can only assume that it's a systems defence against the currently prevalent lurgy, so can hardly complain.

angelv's p0rn face!
wardytron's 'tache! much discussion of bumsechs - with hilarious consequences! And, of course, the photos of Wrong. But of those, let us never speak again.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is jolly good, but not nearly as heart-torn-out-while-still-beating gutting as I'd expected, and I can't quite work out why that should be. But then there's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow( Read more... )
