That's just the title!

En route to work today I found myself filled with Springtime beneficence today in the manner of Fotherington-Thomas, smiling at the light and the blackbirds. Obviously I still wanted to exterminate large swathes of the human detritus that crossed my path, but today I would have done so with an understanding and avuncular smile.

Attempted to watch High Art last night, but even a lesbian Ally Sheedy couldn't draw me in past the sheer mundanity of it all, so settled on The Elusive Pimpernel instead. Given it shares a star, producers, writers and directors with the best film ever, it was something of a disappointment in terms of emotional power but given the Scarlet Pimpernel is pretty much the first superhero, and furthermore Barry As Fvck, I still found it thoroughly entertaining.
