We came through
Oct. 28th, 2003 10:34 amThe malaise which seemed to be troubling so many was enveloping me by yesterday hometime like a deceptively comfy but utterly vile garment. So rather than attempt to snap myself out of it or anything sensible, I retired to my room for the first Tindersticks album, Music for Egon Schiele by Rachel's, some red wine, the rather savage new Pratchett and top 'going slowly mental in a London flat' flick Repulsion.
Which was obviously the right decision because today I feel absolutely spiffing. Even City Sickness has been erased from my head by XFM playing the Divinyls.
Oh, and let's all wish the shade of Evelyn Waugh a happy centenary!
